Meanwhile, the <strong>European Union<\/strong> has already expressed their desire to <strong>standardize the processes and forms<\/strong> related with electronic invoicing in <strong>2029<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Until then, new legislation is continuously being enacted. In today&#8217;s blog, we will be covering the latest news on mandatory e-invoice regulations in Spain and France.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>The Spanish model is being created<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Since the publication of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lamoncloa.gob.es\/serviciosdeprensa\/notasprensa\/asuntos-economicos\/Paginas\/2022\/150922-aprobacion-congreso-ley-crea_y_crece.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;Crea y Crece&#8221; (Create and Grow) Law<\/a>, this past month of September, 2022, The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation is working on designing <u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voxelgroup.net\/blog\/en\/all-the-keys-to-the-mandatory-electronic-invoice-in-spain\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the mandatory e-invoice project in Spain<\/a><\/u>.<\/p>\n<p>A public consultation was opened in March regarding the project outlined in the Royal Decree that covers electronic invoicing. On June 20, <strong>the draft of the Royal Decree<\/strong> was published. From now on, and until July 10, a period of allegations opens so that the affected companies can give their feedback to the Public Administration.<\/p>\n<p>Once this period of allegations is concluded, there is a resolution period. <strong>The last step is the approval of the Royal Decree and subsequent publication in the Official State Gazette (BOE).<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-11847 size-full\" title=\"Girl and boy working in front of a computer\" src=\"https:\/\/www.voxelgroup.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/interiorBlog_novedadeslegislativas_01.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"633\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.voxelgroup.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/interiorBlog_novedadeslegislativas_01.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.voxelgroup.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/interiorBlog_novedadeslegislativas_01-300x190.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.voxelgroup.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/interiorBlog_novedadeslegislativas_01-768x486.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/>Delays in France<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>In January 2022, <u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voxelgroup.net\/blog\/en\/france-the-european-union-authorizes-mandatory-b2b-electronic-invoice\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">France received authorization from the European Union<\/a><\/u> to implement the mandatory use of the electronic invoice for domestic transactions between companies. Since then, the country has made progress on their plan, schedule and the designing of technical specifications for their e-invoice process.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>electronic invoice model designed by France<\/strong>, model Y, has three key actors: <strong>the issuer of the invoice, the suppliers and the government<\/strong>.
