Voxel\u2019s founders and the members of its Management Committee have had diverse and highly intense experiences (those that make you reflect upon your principles and values), a fact that has led them to attain an increasingly higher level of consciousness. This is a path, and therefore<\/span> <b>the \u201corganization\u201d is continuously evolving.<\/b>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1697187271297{margin-top: 40px !important;margin-right: 40px !important;margin-bottom: 40px !important;margin-left: 40px !important;}&#8221;]<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-11905 alignleft\" style=\"margin-bottom: 94px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.voxelgroup.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Recurso-4-8.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"29\" height=\"21\" \/><em><span class=\"quotesPost\">Being a profitable company is not only compatible with being a place where people are also happy, it is much better. In fact, the professional part cannot be separated from the human part: they are indivisible.<\/span><\/em>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of these experiences came about during the pandemic (a time of crisis that turns into an investment opportunity for someone who has the financial ability to take advantage of it), when Voxel received several investment proposals, one of which \u2013 because it was such a high amount \u2013 would have allowed its founders to comfortably retire. Yet they reached the conclusion that they didn\u2019t want to take on financial liabilities with third parties (due to the risk of changing how decisions were made by the organization). This consequently led to a moment of in-depth reflection in which they realized that<\/span> <b>they were happy with the essence of the organization, where they had grown and developed. <\/b>[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"img-with-aniamtion-wrap center\" data-max-width=\"100%\" data-border-radius=\"20px\"><div class=\"inner\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-shadow=\"none\" data-shadow-direction=\"middle\" class=\"img-with-animation skip-lazy \" data-delay=\"0\" height=\"1385\" width=\"2560\" style=\"margin-top: 40px; margin-bottom: 40px; \" data-animation=\"fade-in\" src=\"https:\/\/www.voxelgroup.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/stock_1-scaled.jpg\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.voxelgroup.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/stock_1-scaled.jpg 2560w, https:\/\/www.voxelgroup.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/stock_1-300x162.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.voxelgroup.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/stock_1-1024x554.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.voxelgroup.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/stock_1-768x416.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.voxelgroup.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/stock_1-1536x831.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.voxelgroup.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/stock_1-2048x1108.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, 100vw\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div><\/div>[vc_column_text]<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That feeling was also shared by their employees: Voxel had been recognized as a \u201cGreat Place to Work\u201d for two consecutive years, thereby bolstering the concept that<\/span> <b> being a profitable organization and at the same time having people feel comfortable in it, is not only compatible but much better<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, as shown by several studies<sup>2<\/sup>. <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In fact, the professional part cannot be separated from the human part: they are indivisible. It makes no sense to tell someone that their problems \u201cend at the company\u2019s door\u201d because, in the end, there will be both short- and long-term consequences (not only for that person, but also for the company!). <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Part of that reflection was that they weren\u2019t going to \u201cwork\u201d. The concept of work was too transactional (a person receives a wage in exchange for their time and effort), which wasn\u2019t very much in line with the intrinsic motivators of the people (autonomy, learning and purpose)<sup>3 <\/sup> or with the most extrinsic ones (recognition and social connection). So we had to go beyond this: the previous purpose of wanting to inspire other companies to \u201ccreate a healthy business fabric\u201d and to be the \u201cBest Place to Work\u201d had to change towards creating <b>organizations where their employees could find alignment with a personal purpose.<\/b>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1697181308896{margin-top: 40px !important;margin-right: 40px !important;margin-bottom: 40px !important;margin-left: 40px !important;}&#8221;]<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-11905 alignleft\" style=\"margin-bottom: 40px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.voxelgroup.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Recurso-4-8.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"29\" height=\"21\" \/><em><span class=\"quotesPost\">Everyone has the right to be happy, and personal development is one of the key factors.<\/span><\/em>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Key ideas began to take solid shape, such as everyone has the right to be happy, and one of the factors to reaching that happiness consisted in continuing to promote the<\/span> <b>development of individuals beyond the professional sphere, especially at the personal and internal level. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This second level, which begins with self-knowledge (discovery of one\u2019s own strengths, weaknesses, emotions, needs, motivations, etc.), allows evolving and making better externally-related decisions, as well as developing more empathy towards others in order to improve relationships. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>The founders of Voxel and its Management Committee therefore decided that they wanted to go beyond merely ensuring that their employees were happier, and they established the higher purpose of <b>inspiring other companies to also be places where people could develop (\u201cGreat Places to Grow\u201d) and be happier.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The following diagram shows how expanding the consciousness and caring for the happiness of individuals at companies can likewise promote a more conscious and happier society.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"img-with-aniamtion-wrap center\" data-max-width=\"100%\" data-border-radius=\"none\"><div class=\"inner\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-shadow=\"none\" data-shadow-direction=\"middle\" class=\"img-with-animation skip-lazy \" data-delay=\"0\" height=\"543\" width=\"944\" style=\"margin-top: 40px;
