I com a conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncia, <\/span><b>el cost de distribuci\u00f3 dels hotels s\u2019ha disparat<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Antigament, el cost de distribuci\u00f3 hoteler es repartia \u00fanicament entre els seus call centers i les ag\u00e8ncies de viatge. No obstant, avui en dia, aquest cost queda repartit entre m\u00faltiples actors &#8211; OTA\u2019s, GDS, CRS, TMC, entre d\u2019altres -, on cadascun aplica el seu percentatge de beneficis sobre el cost total. Aquest <\/span><b>pot arribar a representar entre un 15% i un 25% de comissi\u00f3 total per als hotels<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A m\u00e9s, la majoria d\u2019hotels, especialment petits hotels independents, no s\u00f3n plenament conscients del volum real d\u2019aquest cost ni com afecta als seus ingressos anuals. \u201cLa realitat \u00e9s que al cost de distribuci\u00f3 tamb\u00e9 se li ha d\u2019afegir els costos derivats del processament de pagaments i el de les cancel\u00b7lacions. I, per a molts hotels, aquests costos no quedan registrats a cap llibre de comptes o Excel\u201d, afirmava \u00c0lex Gisbert, Fundador i CEO de <\/span><b>Fastpayhotels<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> durant el <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voxelgroup.net\/blog\/el-bavel-travel-summit-se-consolida-como-el-evento-de-referencia-de-los-pagos-b2b-en-el-sector-travel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">baVel Travel Summit<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, celebrat a Barcelona el passat mes de maig.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">D\u2019aquesta manera, el cost queda repartit entre les <\/span><b>OTA\u2019s<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, que en molts casos representen el percentatge m\u00e9s elevat; els <\/span><b>costos relacionats amb els pagaments<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, on el cost de les targetes virtuals est\u00e0 creixent cada dia m\u00e9s; les <\/span><b>cancel\u00b7lacions<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, que poden representar en alguns casos el 2% del total del cost de distribuci\u00f3 i el que en angl\u00e8s s\u2019anomena <\/span><b>\u2018breakage\u2019<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> i representa la quantitat de diners no recaptats per subfacturaci\u00f3.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aquest \u00faltim \u00e9s un dels que passa m\u00e9s desapercebuts pels hotelers, per\u00f2 pot acabar representant una gran quantitat de p\u00e8rdues a final d\u2019any. Facturar quantitat err\u00f2nies, oblidar-se de cobrar targetes de cr\u00e8dit o subfacturar s\u00f3n algunes de les discrep\u00e0ncies (breakage) m\u00e9s habituals. \u201cAquest breakage representa una gran font d\u2019ingressos pels Bed Banks i, desafortunadament, \u00e9s un cost que els hotels no tenen en compte\u201d, es lamentava Gisbert. I, igual que el cost de les cancel\u00b7lacions, \u00e9s molt dif\u00edcil de controlar, ja que en molts casos no dep\u00e8n directament de l\u2019hotel.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Per a Gisbert, el problema principal est\u00e0 en que, des de fa uns anys, el cost de distribuci\u00f3 s\u2019ha doblat, per\u00f2 no els ingressos dels hotels. Degut a l\u2019augment del n\u00famero d\u2019hotels, les tarifes s\u2019han mantingut o fins i tot s\u2019han vist redu\u00efdes, el que podria comportar un problema de solv\u00e8ncia i financer per molts petits i mitjans hotels.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Per intentar revertir aquesta situaci\u00f3 i enfront la demanda creixent de serveis personalitzats, <\/span><b>els hotels estan potenciant la venta directa des de les seves p\u00e0gines web<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. D\u2019aquesta manera, aconsegueixen oferir millors serveis, augmentant el marge de beneficis i reduint els costos de distribuci\u00f3.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Molts hotels estan comen\u00e7ant a adaptar-se a noves tecnologies, disposen de major connectivitat i estan intercanviant les tarifes est\u00e0tiques per din\u00e0miques, permetent reduir aquests costos<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d, explicava Gisbert. I continua dient: \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Encara que la venta directa suposi uns costos afegits<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; publicitat, passarel\u00b7les de pagament, plataformes e-Commerce &#8211; e<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">l marge de beneficis<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; per als hotels &#8211; <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00e9s molt m\u00e9s elevat\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>El cost de distribuci\u00f3 est\u00e0 canviant la forma en que els hotels ofereixen els seus serveis i productes al client final<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Apostant per la venta directa, els hotels intenten oferir productes i serveis m\u00e9s personalitzats, on disposen de m\u00e9s marge per aplicar promocions i descomptes. No obstant, molts pocs hotels poden disposar d\u2019un \u00fanic canal de distribuci\u00f3.
